First, a metal pipe of liquid glass at over 1000℃ is taken out of a pot and the pipe is turned around and the glass is centred on the pipe with a spool. When the glass art is finished, the pipe can be carefully detached from the glass and it should cool down slowly so that it is free of tension and cannot burst.
