How do I choose a unique piece of furniture in this age of furniture giants?

It is important to enjoy this step, as you will now be building your own furniture with your own identity. Montana furniture uses MDF with an EU eco-label because it is a sturdy material. Therefore, the furniture brand guarantees durable, high quality furniture that is safe for you and the environment. It all starts with the creation of a 12 mm thick MDF frame, which is available in 36 different sizes. All furniture shares the same finish, which means that the edges are milled round and sanded smooth. Next, you have to think about the details you want to apply. It is important not to be modest here, because it is your cupboard! You can choose from 4 mounting options: recessed into the wall, on feet, on a plinth or on wheels. Once that is clear, you can decide on the type of doors you want. Do you want wooden doors or glass doors, and do you want one with a doorknob or with a push button. Then you choose any shelves, drawers and compartments and, as the icing on the cake, you can indicate whether you want lighting in the cabinets and if so where it should be. Finally, you are in charge of the colour of the cabinet system. You can choose from 42 colours that are completely renewed every 8 years.

Montana is very active in creating quality products for the home, which is why it introduced its own set of environmental labels 25 years ago in consultation with the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. For instance, besides the MDF with an EU eco-label, they use purely water-based paint that does not smell and does not contain solvents. Montana Furniture was also one of the first Danish furniture manufacturers to receive the EU eco-label.
